We're mad for everything Harry Potter, so when we spotted the announcement earlier today that Hoot in Stockport have just opened a Harry Potter cafe - right here in Greater Manchester - we basically wet ourselves with excitement.

The exciting non-for-profit gift shop-come-cafe is inspired by the wonderful wizarding world of Harry Potter and describes itself as your "go-to destination for licensed Harry Potter and Game of Thrones merchandise as well as exclusive jewellery, artwork, cards and gifts."

And it's now open for magical-themed tea, coffee, potions, chocolate frogs, sandwiches and cake for muggles of all ages looking for somewhere to take a much-needed respite away from the humdrum worries of the everyday.

A little piece of magic right here in Greater Manchester...

You can find out more about Hoot and all the latest goings-on at their official Facebook page here.

You can find Hoot at: 57 Great Underbank, Stockport, SK1 1 NE

Opening hours: 10am-4pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
