Here's Why You Need To Check Out Cafe 19 On Lever Street

We bet you've passed it a thousand times

Cafe Bar

We don't think there's anything better than discovering a whole new place to fuel our caffeine addiction, and Cafe 19 on Lever Street is hitting the spot.

It seems to have slipped under many Mancunian's radars - and we're on a mission to change that.

Offering a brand new brunch menu, as well as lunch, locally-roasted coffee, cake and a brand new look this place now does late-night cocktails too and everything is delicious.

The menu consists of all the usual brunch suspects: full english, smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel, but they've got some real quirky veggie offerings too.

On the day I went for the bagel topped with avocado, halloumi, poached eggs and sundried tomatoes and it was the best brekkie I've had in years.

Garnished with herbs, the combination of the salty halloumi with the avocado and sweet tomato was to die for - I would happily eat this for breakfast every single day for the rest of my life.

Now coffee is the drink that has taken the nation by storm in the last decade but tea is the trend that we are all going to be talking about next.

And while the coffee here is good, the tea's even better and they have a good selection of seriously top brews to keep you wide awake through the working day.

We were too full at the time but if you've got room left (and that's a big if) their counter of home-made cakes and bakes is well worth checking out, there are plenty of options from vegan to gluten-free to pure and simply indulgent.

Oh. And did we mention they do cocktails?
