We're not in Ireland, so here in Manchester getting a good ol' fashioned Guinness is like a four-leaf clover: hard to find and lucky to have, especially in the Northern Quarter.

But this year for this weekend and this weekend only, the guys at Trof will be celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day by adding Guinness on tap for the entire weekend (for the first time ever!) and curating an Irish influenced Roast and Records special on Sunday 17th March.

Expect a mosaic of meaty goodness featuring chicken, pork, beef and a vegan roast all day Sunday. The record’s will be supplied by Augmented Sound with some sweet funk, soul and disco from 2pm until 8pm.

The Irish dry stout will be on tap for all Mancunian’s to celebrate as well as a Jameson’s cocktail special (only for the brave!)

The perfect serve...

According to Guinness themselves, it should take about 119 seconds to pour a Guinness, hence their line "good things come to those who wait."

To book in advance call 0161 833 3197 - you can find Trof at 8 Thomas St. Manchester, M4 1EU
