The Fizz Festival Cheshire is an annual festival that celebrates all things Fizz and it’s happening next weekend (17th and 18th Nov.) at The Courthouse in Knutsford.

Unlike other prosecco events that keep cropping up around the UK, the Fizz Festival prides itself on being producer-led. Meaning the products that you taste will be the absolute best range of grower-producer champagne, unusual sparkling wines and of course some amazing prosecco. But none of the stuff that you would be able to easily pick up at your local Tesco - what’s the point in that.

Another amazing part about this festival is that your ticket price (£25) includes free tasting of everything at the festival (and that’s a lot!). There will be no pesky tasting tokens that you’ll have to fork out for.

You will also have the chance to talk directly to the producers, discover the story behind each fizz you taste and buy them by the bottle or case at discounted prices.

Some of the amazing producers who will be attending the event include the winner of the Best Champagne Award: Esprit de Champagne with Champagne Jacques Chaput L'Authentic.

A pioneering Crémant (french sparkling wine) producer from Alsace will also be making the journey across the pond to share the quality of his amazing sparkling wines.

However, you can also expect no less than three English wine producers from Sussex and Devon who are keen to show off some of our home grown quality sparkling wines.

Don’t worry if you can’t make it to the festival next weekend in Knutsford. The following weekend (25th Nov.) will see the Fizz Festival collaborate with Holmes Mill in Clitheroe for a one-day festival bringing their amazing range of champagne and sparkling wines to the Lancashire region.

Sure music festivals are great and all, but a whole weekend dedicated to fizz...now that’s where the party’s at.
