Monday mornings suck. That’s a universally accepted fact.

But how can you make that humdrum start to the working week just a little bit more bearable? Free Food that’s how.

In an effort to brighten up our Monday mornings plant-based cafe, Vertigo, will be giving away 100 free breakfasts.

The plant-based cafe will open their doors from 7:30am on Monday and the first 100 customers through the door will be given a breakfast dish free of charge.

Their breakfast menu includes classic dishes (all vegan of course) like a full english, vanilla porridge with stewed plums, maple granola, smashed avocado and cinnamon waffles.

Vertigo are holding this giveaway in an effort to give people a taste of what a plant based diet looks like without them having to actually fork out and cash for it – which I think it a great idea.

Vertigo are known for their amazing plant-based dishes that are healthy, hearty and most importantly tasty. We went down when they first opened to give their three bean chilli a go and it was mega!

If you don’t get a chance to pick up a free breakfast on Monday, I would definitely recommend going there for a quick and healthy lunch or for a pre-theatre dinner. They recently launched their evening menu which features new delicious small plates including “duck” pancakes, truffle mac and cheese and cauliflower buffalo wings.

Breakfast will be served from 7:30am until 11am and freebies are limited to the first 100 customers through the door on March 4.

There is a one breakfast per person limit.

Vertigo Cafe is located in the Royal Exchange Building on Cross Street, across the road from the Arndale Centre.

We will see you there!
