Forget Christmas, Easter really is the best time of year.

It’s essentially a free pass for all-you-can-eat chocolate, and that includes the deep-fried variety.

Manchester’s chicken hub Yard & Coop has announced it’s serving mouthwatering deep-fried Creme Eggs for Easter – but only for a limited time.

That’s right. Everyone’s favourite Cadbury’s chocolate and gooey fondant, deep-fried until it’s covered in a crisp batter shell. Available from Wednesday 17th April for £3.

They were all the rage last year, so if you missed out, why not head down and give one a try?
