Waste not want not.

Real Junk Food Manchester will be celebrating their recent nomination for pop-up of the year by hosting a unique event at the Manchester Food and Drink Festival.

RJFM are a not for profit organisation who work with food businesses to source food that would otherwise go to waste, cook it up into meals, with a focus on health and nutrition, and serve them to anyone and everyone on a pay-as-you-feel basis.

They are teaming up with head chef Mary-Ellen McTague to create a celebration feast made entirely from food that would otherwise go to waste for 150 lucky guests.

The Binner Party event will take place on Thursday 29th September 2016 from 7pm - late at 53two, Manchester's newest and biggest Arts venue.

It's all for a great cause as proceeds will go towards supporting Real Junk Food Manchester in their mission to open Manchester’s first waste food, pay-as-you-feel restaurant.

The evening will include dinner, live music, and drinks provided by local breweries, keeping Mancunian feel to the night!
