Five Affordable Manchester Spots To Go For Dinner This Weekend That Are Tasty AF

Article Featured Image

We are spoilt rotten for food living in Manchester, it’s bloody great and one of the reasons I love it so much.

But sometimes it can be hard narrowing down a choice, and you can end up spending a fortune.

So how about I give you a handful of affordable, yet tasty AF suggestions you can choose from?

Go on then.

1. Viet Shack

God I can’t get enough of this place.

This Vietnamese street food takeaway, located in The Food Market in The Arndale, is quite possibly the best place you’ll ever eat – and it’s an absolute bargain too.

My advice? Order everything off the menu…ALL OF IT.

2. Comptoir Lebanese

These guys are the underdogs in Manchester you know.

Tasty, fairly clean and affordable food from the Lebanese, they’re also bloody lovely.

Comptoir Lebanese is located in Spinningfields and the decor is cute as hell too.

3. Beastro

Another spot located in Spinningfields with a menu that will please all crowds.

From the lovely chaps who also run ‘Well Hung’ (incredible meat) you can beat a good meal at Beastro.

4. Oishi-Q

Fancy a delicious bowl of Japenese goodness?

The Katsu Curry specialists (although look at that burger) are located on Hulme Street and wont cost you an arm and a leg either.

I’m in.

5. Hold Fast NQ

Now this is what you call cheap and cheerful.

This bar is within the Hatters Hostel in the Northern Quarter and for just a fiver, you can get yourself a good old fashioned frozen Italian pizza and a side of your choice.

The sides? A bag of Space Raiders.

Yep, take your pick from Pickled Onion or Beef.

And if you’re super skint, every Friday from 6pm they hand our free chicken nuggets and chips – I’ll be camping outside.

Okay now I’m starving.
