There’s A Two Course Meal In Manchester Where You Can Also Dissect A ‘Human’ Body

Described as the world’s only ‘live and interactive anatomical dinner and dissection experience’, Anatomy Lab Live is returning to Manchester following three sell out years of events.

The theme of this year’s two course meal is Contagion, where you and your team must work to further understand the infection and to find a cure to a global pandemic that has obliterated an estimated 95% of human civilisation.

The nationally acclaimed dinner and dissection experience is returning in 2020, where guests will enjoy their meal in a fully working quarantine and decontamination centre.

According to organisers, in the centre of the room will be a quarantine tank, where a highly infected ‘human’ specimen is being kept on close watch.

The ‘human specimen’ is VIVIT – a specially constructed synthetic human cadaver that houses real organs.

After guests have enjoyed their two-course meal, the tank will be open and clinical trials will begin. Your team will dissect the inner organs in an attempt to identify the pathogen.

This event is aimed at students, graduates and those with a macabre apocalyptic interest.

Featured on Dragons Den in 2018, Sam Piri, CEO of ITAE Group said: “I am so excited about this concept as exploring the impact and extent of global pandemics, climate change and an anti-biotic resistant world feels so current and topical at the moment.”

Tickets start at £72.99 for the event and include full PPE, equipment, and a two course meal.

Anatomy Lab LIVE is returning to Manchester on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 January 2020.
