Anyone who worries that a meal out in a restaurant can be a little dull will love this unusual entertainment.

The Hard Rock Cafe will be taken over by an army of Freddie Mercurys next month for a very unusual charity event.

Freddie For A Day, taking place on September 5, will see staff dusting down their catsuits and donning fake moustaches to become the Queen singer.

The idea is to raise funds and awareness for the Mercury Phoenix Trust and the fight against AIDS and HIV on what would have been the legend’s birthday.

Now in its seventh year, it's a fundraising initiative dreamed up by the Mercury Phoenix Trust.

Head to the venue in The Printworks from 12noon on September 5.
