Afternoon tea is a sure-fire way to score major son or daughter points on Mother’s Day this year – adorable (and tasty) finger sarnies, sumptuous cake and maybe a cheeky splash of fizz.
So why not do it in the amazing surroundings of Ordsall Hall? The whole event is 100% tudor-themed and mums can even dress as a tudor character if they’d like!
This particular afternoon tea will be a spectacular treat for your mum with a table at the magnificent Tudor manor house that is Ordsall Hall between 1 and 2pm on Sunday 31st March. Take a walk in the orchards and landscaped gardens before you sit down to dine and enjoy the spring air.
The main event will feature a delicious range of sandwiches, cakes and pastries in the great hall, which itself is one of the earliest and most impressive timber framed halls in the UK and the perfect location to dine in rich and opulent settings for an afternoon tea with a difference.
It’ll set you back £30 per person (£35 with prosecco) and don’t forget your fancy dress!
