A Steam Train In The Sky, Santa Shots And Gingerbread Cocktails - This Is The Ultimate Christmas Experience

Did we mention the log full of cake?

Who doesn't (even if secretly) love the festive feels that December brings in abundance?

There's nothing better surely, than sitting around a cosy venue, perhaps with a burning log fire crackling merrily in the background, with your best buds - glass of mulled cider in hand - putting the world to rights...

Manchester is inundated with festive-themed pop ups, Christmas cabins, market festivities and Christmassy decor - but how about a festive respite in the clouds?

The all-new Cloud Express has just launched at Cloud 23 bar and you can expect a magical transformation featuring pop-up train and an enchanting platform 23, decked out with benches, vintage luggage and signs.

Enter the enchanting lift and be welcomed by train tracks guiding you to board the Cloud Express. Once inside, train sounds will play to get your journey started.

The new festive menu includes a full Christmas dinner on a skewer (think turkey and aaallllll the trimmings) plus of course, a wooden log brimming with sweet treats including mini mince pies, a rich chocolate reindeer pastry, traditional stollen, coconut macaroons, gingerbread sandwich filled with house-made vanilla butter cream, all decoratively sprinkled with dried cranberry snow.

To wash it all down, you can indulge in one (or two) of the six Tanqueray cocktails from the Christmas drinks menu, ranging between £11 and £20 (the Up, Up and Away In A Manger features champers and real cherry puree is a taste sensation.)
