A Home Alone Event With Crazy Pedros' Kevin McAllister Pizza Is Coming To The Northern Quarter

Complete with booby traps, Christmas cocktails and house party...

Make A Scene

Make A Scene are coming back to Manchester's Texture to put their interactive spin on Macaulay Culkin's Timeless favourite Home Alone.

A festive quote-along, pizza-eating spectacular

The interactive experience is arriving just in time for Christmas on Saturday 10th December at Manchester's queerest film club for the latest of their world-famous showings.

Audience members are encouraged to boo villainous characters (everyone remember Uncle Frank?!) and 'quote along' their favourite lines from the movie. There'll be a visit from one of Crazy Pedro's own pizza delivery boys and resident drag queen Grace Oni Smith will be playing mom McCallister! Mrs McCallister will of course at the night's key festive moment be reunited with Kevin (played by drag queen Violet Blonde.)

Scene Screen

The more than cheesy affair will be topped off with the delivery from the Northern Quarter's newest crazy pizza parlour - Crazy Pedro's - who've created the 'Kevin McAllister Plain Cheese' especially for the event.

Make A Scene's debut last month - Sing A Long, Flower Arrange A Long screening of Little Shop Of Horrors! was a fast sell-out, and with Home Alone up there as one of the most quotable films of the 90s, tickets are hot property.

No excuse to be home alone this Christmas

There'll be two showings of the festive classic - one at and 3pm and a later showing at 7.30pm.

Make A Scene will also be donating money from your ticket to LGBT Homeless Charity Albert Kennedy Trust on your behalf to make sure we help out those who are less fortunate than us at this time of year.

Special 90s Christmas gifts and cocktail prizes will beup for grabs for audience members who dare to turn up adorning their their ugliest Christmas jumpers, and if that wasn't enough - Pedro's are offering happy hour prices all day AND night for Make A Scene ticket holders in their Northern Quarter venue (for those of you who aren't familiar with the gaff - that means 2-4-1 Cocktails, cheap plonk, £10 for full pizza, £2 a slice.)

Crazy Pedro's will be pen 4pm - 4am on the day of the event.

A feel-great night to remember

And Make A Scene’s producer Gary Williams can’t wait to get going!

“We wanted to go with some 90s nostalgia – we still have that queer twist with drag queens playing all the parts and rauncy humour from our hosts, we’ll be dealing with the film’s themes of family issues which we can all relate to at Christmas, gay, straight or everything inbetween!”

“We’re couldn’t resist the idea of {Crazy Pedro's} helping recreate the classic scene where Kevin orders pizza and scares the delivery boy off with a gangster movie!"

"They’re collecting for the Albert Kennedy Trust too, which is a great cause, so grab a ticket, give a little cash to charity and sample a slice of Pedro’s famous pizza!”
