At last, the high street chain dubbed the pioneers of the 'naturally fast food' phenomenon has opened its doors in Manchester.

The brand new LEON restaurant opened in the Intu Centre Trafford on Easter Monday, and they opened a second restaurant next to Piccadilly Station too.

Of course we can't wait to try LEON, but we thought it was worthwhile noting that it's not the only eatery for a healthy bite in Manchester...


LEON diners will have the chance to try the chain’s seasonal Lamb & Rhubarb Khoresh, Hey Pesto Chicken Salad, The Mack Wrap and Sunshine Salad Pot.

2. Oké Poké

Poké (pronounced poh-kay) is a traditional Hawaiian street food that is a healthy alternative to western fast food - a combination of diced raw fish, vegetables and various other mix-ins. The newly-opened eatery's switching up lunches in the NQ.

3. Greens Restaurant

One of the first vegetarian restaurants in Manchester, celeb chef Simon Rimmer's got a menu to conjure with, including quinoa salad with scorched broccoli, sun blush tomatoes, butter beans and green goddess dressing and spiced fried tofu katsu curry served with jasmine rice and a spring onion, carrot and sesame salad.
