These Manchester Venues are Offering Indulgent Food, Fun and Freebies This Easter

You don’t need to go through the effort of organising a garden themed Easter Egg hunt this year – there are plenty of places to escape to which can provide all the fun!

Take yourself, your family or your friends (or all together!) into Manchester this Easter weekend and indulge in some of the fantastic sweet treat offerings. 

Because Creme Egg Shakes and Oreo Cookie cocktails are way more exciting than breaking into a Dairy Milk egg…


1. Indulge in Lamburgini Burgers and Creme Egg Shakes at Albert Schloss

If this action packed line up doesn’t get you giddy as a bee, then we don’t know what will. Albert Schloss will be putting on special guest performances over the Easter weekend, ranging from Bunny Boiler Burlesque to The Church live.

The Lamburgini Lamb Burger
7oz lamb patty, red onion, tomato & mint salsa, lettuce, harissa & garlic aioli in a haus made cumin bun. Served with fries.

The infamous shake returns, and joining it is the ultimate Hot Cross Bun with double chocolate brownies, Easter egg ice cream & salted caramel sauce. Delicious. 

2. Sup Oreo Cookie White & Dark Russian Cocktails at Gorilla

3. Take your kids to the Dino Disco Adventure Challenge at The Great Northern

Manchester’s Great Northern is running a series of interactive events thatwill give kids the chance to dive into some games!

The supervised event lets your younger ones get involved with dinosaur themed storytelling, puppets, games, challenges and of course, dino dancing! The events are available from £5.50 on Saturday 7th April and Sunday 8th April.


4. Sip Queer Beer and Explore at the Easter Maker’s Markets

The Great Northern will also be hosting its monthly Makers Market on Sunday 1st April. The market will have lots of stalls offering up food, drinks, gifts and independantly ran businesses, but it brings some newness this time too.

There will be stalls offering epic flavoured chocolate, the UK’s first ‘Queer Beer’ will be on offer, and a stall dedicated to all things Elvis. It’s definitely worth a visit.


5. Free Desserts at Opium, Deansgate

For the sweetest deal this bank holiday, take a trip to Opium – a new pizza and cocktail bar. This gorgeous restaurant will be offering a free dessert with every meal on Easter Sunday. A great way to get all the family together for a feast, whilst reaping the benefits of free desserts all round! 

6. Easter Themed Afternoon Tea at Home Sweet Home

The Great Northern and Northern Quarter Home Sweet Home restaurants will be putting on a special Easter Themed Afternoon Tea, running just for Easter.

Swap your scones and your Victoria Sponge slice for cinnamon duster warm churros, hot cross bun truffles and creme egg cheesecake. Divine! More info here.
