You Can Now Stay In An Actual Wine Bottle And It Looks Insane
Worth a tipple
With the advent of Airbnb and the like, it's easier than ever to stay in really unusual spots across the world.
But now we've discovered Made In Fofan, we don't want to stay anywhere else.
The bolthole, in Spain, is an actual WINE BOTTLE.
And you can sleep inside.
The venue, at Rias Baixas on the southwestern coast of Galicia, labels itself the 'largest bottle of Albariño - a white Spanish wine - in the world'.
It's painted bright white inside and even has windows, so it's not in any way poky or claustrophobic.
The owners pride themselves on being green, and there are courses in breadmaking - including their famed pumpkin bread - and more offered at the vineyard.
They say it's "a corner in which to reconnect with the earth, in which pace themselves to the seasons and learn the traditions and learn more about self-sufficiency in the field back to the flavors, fruits and traditional breads.."
The bed and breakfast offering even includes a bottle of Albariño for each night of your stay.
