Christmas Lover Told To Leave Markets - Because Of His Camera!

Bah humbug

Christmas Markets

Local resident Richard Crisp has today been told to leave the Manchester Christmas Markets because his camera lens violated certain rules.

Security claims that they're well within their rights given that Richard's telephoto lens and professional camera is no longer allowed in the Manchester Christmas markets, but no widespread public announcement appears to have been made about the restrictions:

"Apparently it was because with my lens I could see in people's windows from a distance."

"But if I wanted to look in people's windows I wouldn't be standing in the Christmas markets!"

Security began to radio for the police before Richard insisted that he would leave.

So careful while merrymaking folks - best leave any shiny new gear you got for your birthday at home - it's all about the phone selfies here!
