A 150kg Mythical Creature Will Be Storming Through Manchester This Week

Release your inner Daenerys Stormborn

A dragon made entirely of lego will be swooping through the city this week, paying a visit to the city’s iconic landmarks, before it descends on LEGOLAND Discovery Centre; making its nest in the all-new LEGO Ninjago City Adventure play feature.

People of Manchester that get a glimpse of this giant mythical creature are encouraged to share a snap on social media using the hashtag #LDCDragon to be in with a chance of winning family passes to the ultimate indoor LEGO playground.

The dragon has a wingspan of 10 feet and a crouching height of nearly 5ft – weighing in at a whopping 150Kg.

The dragon will complete the new-look of the discovery centre, which recently invested £1 million in the attraction and includes a UK exclusive adventure play feature, new modern café with floor-to-ceiling windows, a new bigger and better Creative Workshop, a newly-located LEGO Racers Build & Test Zone and new Birthday Party rooms with three brand new Birthday Party experiences.

Before entering the three-tiered temple, children can practice their Ninja moves in the training camp, from interactive play to imaginative play, the Dojo Training Camp teaches all there is to know on becoming a Spinjitzu Master; play features include a dual-sided Batak Game so friends and family can battle it out and become top of the leader board!

Families planning their next visit can book online, with prices starting from £11 per child and £15 per adult when purchased in advance online.
