New openings are springing up all over the place this autumn, so there's no excuse for being stuck in a rut.

Whether you're after Hawaiian cocktails, steaks cooked to perfection or just a new hangout, here are some top new openings for you to try.

1. Alston Bar & Beef

They're promising the highest quality steaks in the UK alongside a selection of the world’s finest gins.

2. Bay Horse Tavern

The Bay Horse has been taken on by the trio behind The Liars Club, Cane and Grain and Crazy Pedro’s. It's serving up small plates of classic British dishes full of locally sourced produce.

3. Mackie Mayor

The stunning industrial build now houses a wide selection of artisan foodie offerings and top-notch drink vendors under one massive glass cover.

4. Toast

Open in the old Barclays Bank in the Goose Green area of Altrincham, it's the labour of Justin Orange - brother of ex-Take Thatter Jason - and features everything from eggs to peaches and cream to apple pie on top of toast.

5. Kettlebell Kitchen

The healthy fast food spot's second unit opened in Manchester last month - changed up a little as an express unit - take away only with outdoor seating.

6. Cibus Pizza

Pop-up restaurant at the Levy Secret Diner venue, it's just open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 6-10pm, with a menu to die for.

8. Fairfield Social Club

Manchester's hottest new music and street food venue - and home to a certain GRUB...

9. Masons Restaurant Bar

Opened in Manchester Hall - the transformed former Freemasons Hall - this has all the swanky touches of a private members' club, complete with a menu packed with  playful, modern interpretations of traditional British flavours.

10. Hula

A third venue for the famous late-night Hawaiian-themed haunt, promising the same raucous, late-night fun, rum and fire and a menu packed with exciting tiki cocktails - including their famous Zombie.

11. 1761 and Lily's Bar

Split across two levels, restaurant 1761 is on the ground floor and, in the basement, is Lily’s Bar - including Lily’s Library, a 'secret drinking den' with a bar, projector and fireplace that you can hire out.

12. Dirty Martini

The posh London spot is finally bringing the Dirty Martini brand to the North. Expect big nights and bigger hangovers - but a load of fun.

Million Pound Menu sees 12 of the UK's most exciting and innovative food concepts coming to the heart of city for the BBC restaurant investment show hosted by First Dates' Fred Sirieix. More here - but here's the list:

Naked Dough - November 17-19: "An egg-free dough that’s safe to eat raw: the UK’s first cookie-dough parlour."

Bubble & - November 20-22: "Innovative, contemporary, British restaurant concept offering a unique take on the mouth-watering British classic: bubble and squeak"

Dynasty - November 20-22: "A fusion of tapas-style small plates with “plant-forward” East Asian and Latin ingredients"

The Cheese Wheel - November 23-25: Sserving freshly made Italian fettucine that has been immersed in a luxuriously large wheel of Grana Padano."

After it sarted life in the back of a rusty 1974 VW Campervan, the award-winning brand is now expanding from Margate to Didsbury.
