1. Share the food of Love - Bundobust, Piccadilly

Bundobust are offering free okra fries for every combo of two ordered.

Did you know?

Okra fries are actually an aphrodisiac and usually referred to as Mother Nature’s vegetable of love!

The Indian street food restaurant also has fizz and cocktails/mocktails on the menu. There’s even a sharing bottle of Belgian Style Wild Ale called, ‘Juliet.'

2. Canoodle over an aphrodisiac milkshake

Ahead of Valentines, American-inspired restaurant, Ed's Diner has created the ultimate ‘Love Shake’ - laced with renowned aphrodisiacs, spicy hot chilli and rich dark chocolate packed with capsaicin, to promote circulation, and increase the sensitivity of nerve endings and support the blood flow and increases serotonin levels.

3. Try 'Street Dating' - The Printworks

Sassy, single and ready to mingle in Manchester this Valentine’s Day? The Printworks is looking for "confident, outgoing people up for a laugh and most importantly, ready to find the one for them."

The chosen people will be taken out by the centre’s resident cupid to look for love around the city. They will tell them about their type and what they look for in a partner and the Streetdate team will scour the the streets for shoppers who might be a match.

If someone takes their fancy, cupid will grab their attention and get them introduced - then it’s up to the singleton to turn on the charm and ask them out. With a date secured the lucky couple will be whisked off the following evening for a romantic dinner for two at Nando’s in The Printworks. Winner, winner chicken dinner!

4. Take a stroll through Dovestones on Valentines weekend

Sure, why not celebrate at the weekend instead when you both have a little more time to admire the stunning views awaiting you there...

5. Snuggle up with coffee and mermaid doughnuts at Manchester's newest cafe

Cwofffeeeeee! And their bright blue glittery baked good are literally too cute for words.

6. Be the very first couple to eat at Manchester's new Neapolitan pizza restaurant

Tre Cicio officially opens its doors on Valentines Day itself. There's already been a fair bit of hype around the restaurant - which is going to offer woodfired pizza and - randomly - roast chicken and potatoes as their 'hero' dishes.
