The news has emerged today that UK Prime Minister Theresa May has not in fact been invited to the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as expected, that’s according to a government source.
A royal source informed the Independent that guests to the wedding would all have to have a notable and “existing or direct relationship with one or both of the couple.”
Speaking about the wedding, a royal source said that the attendance of UK and international political leaders is “not required” for Prince Harry and Ms Markle’s wedding this spring.
US president Donald Trump is also believed to have missed out on an official invitation to the May 19 occasion.
Fair play we say – what ever happened to friends and family first, anyhoo?
