The budget supermarket giant that is Asda is selling bottles of their award-winning fizz for £5 ahead of Valentines Day on one of their biggest booze sales yet.
The discount officially makes it the cheapest bottle of supermarket fizz on the market here in the UK – with Lidl’s Treviso DOC coming in second cheapest at £5.25 – while a bottle from Aldi will set you back £5.99.
Asda’s Italian prosecco bagged a silver award at the 2017 Decanter Awards and Bronze at the globally-renowned International Wine Challenge.
Asda claims it tastes “fresh and fruity” and “deliciously zesty” – making it the ideal accompaniment to fish dishes and a range of desserts.
The offer is available in-store now (we went for a lunchtime reckie to double check, for market research purposes obviously) and also online here now but it doesn’t last long.
The deal ends on February 14 (Valentine’s Day) after which it’ll go back up to its normal price of £6+.
Chances are it’s going to sell out in record time so best to stock up while stocks last!
