High Street favourite Primark just dropped it’s first designer range with Henry Holland, with stylish bags from just £3.
However, after launching last week, Primark’s Henry Holland collection is already appearing on eBay – for almost three times the price.
Henry Holland is a designer renowned for his iconic T-shirts in the 90’s, and his luxury collections with Debenhams. However, his new venture see’s him produce four tote bags with the budget retailer.
They all feature bold colours and slogans inspired by Holland’s designs, intended to empower aspiring fashion designers in the run-up to Graduate Fashion Week.
But because shoppers can get hold of the fashionable totes at a bargain £3, many savvy shoppers have already snapped up a load – and are flogging them online at bumped-up prices.
All four of the designs, made from sustainable cotton, are currently listed on the auction site, with buy-it-now options priced at £8.95.
Whilst we see how easy it is for this to happen, it’s worth bearing in mind that when the range is bought in-store at Primark, £1.32 of every bag sold is being donated to the GFW Foundation. However, all the cash raised on eBay will be personal profit.
So get to store to save being ripped off, whilst contributing to a good cause too.
