There’s a not-to-be-missed fashion pop-up sale launching on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd in the Northern Quarter. If you love a bargain, you better get yourselves down there, because as well as grabbing some new wardrobe must-have’s, you can donate to charity too.
Local based Manchester charity Mustard Tree are teaming up with Brand Attic – one of Manchester’s biggest fast fashion retailers – to run a sample sale where items start from as low as £1.
Don’t worry if you stumble across a few more pricier items – the top prices won’t go any higher than £15.
Mustard Tree are best known for their plight in combating homelessness and fighting poverty in the North West. As they get ready to open their new HQ on Oldham Street in just a few weeks’ time, Mustard Tree have teamed up with the local Manchester fashion businesses to further their fundraising efforts with the Charity Sample Sale.
As all proceeds from Brand Attic items go directly to the charity, there will also be help from local food vendor, Little Bao Boy. The Bao buns company will be in attendance on both days, serving up some tasty steamed buns and generously donating £1.50 from every sale to the charity.
With the option of fashion and food, the sale is set to be a successful and popular one in Manchester this week.
Sophie Appleton, Corporate Partnerships Manager at the charity said “Mustard Tree exists because chronic poverty, extreme inequality and severe disadvantage is occurring across Greater Manchester. We help to create choice and opportunities through the provision of practical work experience, mentoring support, advocacy and recreational activities; enabling people to become active members of their communities rather than be excluded by it.”
The sale will be hosted at Boss Model Management, who are providing their loft space for free. Boss work with many local charities and are more than happy to provide a space for event as all proceeds from the sample sale go directly to the charity.
