The summer months are in full swing and The Village Screen is celebrating in true style with screenings of some classic films.
One of Manchester’s most impressive venues, Victoria Baths, will be transforming into a stunning picture house this summer, where you and pals can sit back, relax and enjoy two of the greatest films ever made… don’t @ me.
The Village Screen is throwing it back to the 80’s and 90’s (the greatest decades of cinema in my humble opinion), showing The Breakfast Club on Friday 9th and Jurassic Park on Saturday 10th August, all from the comfort of Manchester’s Grade II listed water palace, Victoria Baths.
Victoria Baths is the stunning backdrop for the summer screenings, where guests can enjoy popcorn and sweets in candy-striped deckchairs, as well as offerings of delicious grub from some of the North’s best street food traders.
There will also be a fully stocked bar serving craft ales, themed cocktails and fizz, and a selection of hot and soft drinks.
Tickets cost £16 for adults, £14 for students and seniors (60+). Pool sofas for two are priced at £50.00 (ticket includes admission for two people, a sofa seat for two, plus two blankets). Balcony level tickets are priced at £13 for adults, £11 for students and seniors (60+).
If you fancy attending one of the screenings, bookings can be made in advance here.
