Hold onto your hats because a massive video games festival is coming to Manchester next month!
PLAY Expo, the North’s biggest video games event, is returning to Manchester in May.
There will be over 1000 screens and consoles available to play for free, featuring game previews, indie games, retro classics and eSports for you to try.
Taking place in Manchester Central Exhibition Centre, PLAY Expo is here for two days only on May 5 and 6.
And it’s not just video games this time around. There will also be cosplay, escape rooms, education, live shows, industry panels and YouTuber meet and greets.
PLAY Expo Manchester offers 1000 gaming consoles, handhelds, PCs, arcade and pinball machines – all free to play.
The event also features a huge Minecraft zone, a Fortnite zone, a dedicated VR area and a selection of the best and brightest indie games from the last few years.
On stage, there will be talks from gaming celebrities, cosplay displays and tournaments for gamers of all skill levels.
Live experiences include John Robertson’s ‘The Dark Room’ and ‘Knightmare Live’.
There will be eSports championships taking place throughout the weekend with big cash prizes up for grabs for those competitive gamers looking to be crowned king or queen of the North.
Tickets cost £20 for Adults and £14 for Children. Family tickets are also available from playexpomanchester.com.
