Cheese fans across the North West are losing the plot today as tickets go on sale for the biggest cheese event of the year.
It’s called Cheese Fest UK, and it is literally the kind of stuff dreams are made of.
Unless, for some obscene reason, you don’t like cheese. In which case get the hell away from this article.
(Or you’re lactose intolerant, which is fair enough – you can stay).
The rest of us have the following to look forward to:
- Over 175 different types of cheese
- Local and national cheese vendors
- Traditional cheeses and some that you’ll have never tried before
- Halloumi fries
- Mozzarella sticks
- Mac & cheese
- Cooking demonstrations
- Live bands
- Wine, beer, prosecco, and anything else you might fancy washing all the yummy cheese down with
- MELTED RACLETTE
If you’ve never tried melted raclette before, there’s a reason that I used all capital letters. I’m going to show you why below.
(Don’t watch if you are at work because this is pretty naughty)
Cheese Fest UK is the UK’s biggest touring cheese festival. This is the second year on the trot that they are coming to Manchester following a massively popular event earlier in the year.
