The Trafford Centre have announced that they're bringing a sparklingly magical world to their shopping experience this Valentine's Day, as they introduce a medley of *singing mermaids* to their iconic fountains.

The spectacular creatures are expected to make their debut at the Circe fountain outside Debenhams on lower Regent Crescent on February 14th at 5.30pm, 6.30pm and 8.30pm, bringing with them a repertoire of love songs - featuring the gorge lyrics of George Ezra, of course.

We're confident 'Baby Shark' might also feature...

Regional director at the Trafford Centre Alison Niven says that they "simply couldn't resist a bit of Valentine's magic" when the opportunity arose...

There are currently a grand total of fourteen fountains at the centre, all featuring a range of sea creatures including mermaids, water nymphs and water-shooting dolphins. The Shake Lab are also introducing a new mermaid-themed drink in honour of the occasion (think milk, ice-cream, strawberries, blue cream and sprinkles), which will be available between 18th and 24th February.

For more information on the event itself you can check out the official page on the website here.
