There are so many things to love about Harry Potter.
Whether it’s Hedwig, Quidditch, Hermione’s voice or Hagrid’s beard – there’s no end to the magical moments and characters that bring JK Rowling’s epic stories to life.
It’s a push to claim that anything Harry Potter related is underrated, but I’d have to say the soundtrack is up (or down) there.
Think about it, there’s some incredible songs throughout the films.
Hedwig’s Theme is an absolute banger. I often whistle this to myself whilst cooking, showering etc.
Leaving Hogwarts always sets me off. It’s just so happy but sad at the same time and I’m pretty sure it features at the end of every film (I’m probably wrong though).
The list goes on, and if you’ve made it this far I hope you are feeling the passion.
If so it is your lucky day, because an entirely musical rendition of Harry Potter is coming to Manchester.
Designed to celebrate the immense music created by John Williams, Patrick Doyle, Nicholas Hooper and Alexandre Desplat – it will feature a full orchestra and Hallé Youth Choir.
The Bridgewater Hall is hosting this magical event, which is taking place in February 2019.
Check it out and secure your ticket.
(It’s also fine if you just want to listen to Harry Potter music and reminisce/dance)
