The New 'Birthday Night Market' In Manchester Looks Absolutely Brilliant

The car park will be a dance floor!

Bangkok Railway Market

The famous Levenshulme market is back for 2019 after a winter hiatus as we welcome a 6th Birthday Party with style, flair, and of course - heaps of delicious food, booze and tunes!

The area will be turning the car park into a dance-floor with special guest DJ Veba keeping guests entertained throughout the evening in one of the most unique venues this city has seen.

As we well-know, the Friday night markets, which are always hugely popular, are also the place to find some of the most delicious street food in the whole city, similar in style to Bangkok's famous Railway Market (featured.)

This March 2019's full list is available via the official website here but highlights include Chiit Chaat, Geordie Seoul, Fontana Food (from the people behind Cibus Pizza), Manzoku, The Ottomen, Nyama Choma, Mio Pizza and Wrapscallion.

The market has always been proud to champion traders from the local area, so you’ll also find plenty of stalls run by enterprising Levenshulme residents at the night market and throughout the year.

Expect a huge range of craft beer, ale, wines as well as an extra special pop-up gin and prosecco cocktail bar called Bubbles & Chic, trading out of their super cute converted horsebox.

Market Manager Christine Felton said:

“We’re incredibly excited and proud to be celebrating our 6th year, Levenshulme is thriving at the moment and we love being a part of it. Our first night market of the year is the ideal chance to let our hair down, have a boogie and enjoy some delicious street food!

"We’re lucky to have some of the best street food stalls in Manchester, along with brilliant handmade and artisan stalls if you fancy doing some Friday night shopping.”

The full line-up for each market is published on the official website here and also the Market’s Facebook page each week.
