Our Favourite NQ Cafe Have Launched An Actual Margarita Menu And We're in Love With It

We know what we're doing this Friday!

Tariff

In celebration of International Margarita Day this Friday February 22nd (a holiday which should be in your calendar - if it already isn't) one of our favourite Northern Quarter spots has released a special Margarita menu which will be available until Sunday February 24th.

The gaff is even hosting a special Patrón Tequila Social this Thursday night - set off with an evening of special cocktails all served to a backdrop of Latin music from 7pm late into the night!

Think aaaallll the Mexican vibes and arrribaaa you can shake a stick at.

For Margarita enthusiasts unable to join the social, the venue is serving the special drinks menu throughout the week with the kind-hearted souls at Tariff & Dale sharing their very own recipe for home-birds to recreate too. So don't forget your pen ;)

Without further ado, here's all the yum you can expect on the night...

Patrón Margarita £5

Patrón Silver Tequila / Patrón Citrónge Orange Liqueur / lime / lemon / sea salt

Patrón Hi-Ball £5

Patrón Silver Tequila / Fever Tree Citrus Tonic / orange

Melon Maargarita £6

Patrón Silver Tequila / honeydew melon / lime / melon salt

The Latin Spritz £6

Patrón Silver Tequila / Patrón Citrónge Orange Liqueur / almond / lemon Brut Cava / soda

And the recipe, you so sweetly ask?

Go on then...

Ingredients

· 50ml Patrón Silver Tequila

· 25ml fresh lime juice

· 10ml Patrón Citron Orange Liqueur

· 2 lemon wedges

· Garnished with a salt rim

Method

Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and hard shake for 10-20 seconds. Use a lime wedge to coat the outside of a coupe glass and dust with salt. Using a Hawthorn and fine strainer, strain the liquid into the glass (using 2 strainers keeps any unwanted shards of ice getting into the cocktail). Drink!
