A Spooky Pop-Up Gin Cinema Is Coming To Manchester This Halloween
The "Ginema" tickets include G&Ts, canapés and a meal
Halloween is the time for spooks, watching scary films and eating tasty treats - and what better way to celebrate than with a gin cinema? ...or Ginema.
Michelin recommended restaurant Wood Manchester is offering gin fans an exciting event this Halloween, with a first-class Ginema experience.
Teaming up with Didsbury Gin, Wood Manchester will be screening the original Ghostbusters film on October 31st in their private dining room.

The dining area will boast a personal host to talk ticket holders through the menu, as well as providing drink service.
Diners will be welcomed with a Didsbury Gin & Tonic and canapés before the first half of the movie kicks off.

During a break, guests will enjoy a main course from Simon Wood’s new seasonal menu with more G&Ts, and following the second half of the film will begin.

Simon Wood said: “Halloween is huge in Manchester, and we wanted to bring back the Ginema to offer film fans and gin lovers alike a new & fun cinema experience in the city centre.”
The founders of Alderman’s Didsbury Gin, Liam Manton & Mark Smallwood, will be on hand to talk through the story of the gin and offer some extra inspiration for autumnal cocktails and mixers for the local gin.
The event will start at 6:30pm on Wednesday 31st and tickets are available for £39 per person by emailing email@example.com. Booking is essential as places are limited to 18 people.
