Christmas is very nearly here (eeeeeekkkk!) and to celebrate Manchester’s Great Northern Warehouse are hosting some alternative Christmas markets, taking place weekly from Friday 9 November.

With carefully selected artisans showcasing daily and a bewildering line up of stallholders, Christmas celebrations will be in full swing with all of Manchester’s finest bakers, creators, designers and collectors showcasing right on Deansgate and Peter Street.

You’ll have chance to stroll around the market, meet the producers and of course sample the goods from cheese to chocolate, puddings, to pies, posh tarts to gluten free goodies and lots more!

Expect festive treats, inspiring art and design, gifts for the whole family and hot food to warm your cockles.

Christmas Choirs and performers will also be there over the Christmas period so you can grab a gluwein and soak up the atmosphere. Whether you’re a pleasure seeker, epicurean, art-lover, foodie, vintage enthusiast, Mancunian, adopted Mancunian or just someone who is looking for a festive day out there’s sure to be something for you.
