While our chances of a real white Christmas are slim to none (and that’s at best), a White Christmas is guaranteed in some parts of Greater Manchester this December as the Snow Garden returns for 2017.

Brimming with fluffy artificial snow, snowmen, and soft (throwable!!) snowballs, the garden will be lit with glistening Christmas trees and surrounded by fairy light kissed huts selling festive treats including artisan cheeses, novelty Christmas hats and stockings, personalised Christmas decorations, sweet treats, as well as waffles, mulled wine, Christmas wreaths and winter food.

There’ll also be a Christmas Hook a Duck games cabin for families to enjoy.

The Snow Garden will be located in Merseyway’s shopping centre from Monday 3 December – Saturday 22 December.

It’ll be open between 11am and 4pm Monday – Saturday and 11am – 3pm on Sundays every day on the run-up to Christmas.

There’ll also be late night openings at the Christmas Snow Garden every Tuesday – Thursday until 8pm and for the little ‘uns, there’ll also be free craft workshops and lots of other little treats!

Brendan Webb, Centre Manager says:

“We’re thrilled to have a whole host of festive activity lined up in Merseyway this Christmas. With guaranteed snow in the Snow Garden and Festive Huts throughout the centre, I’m really excited to work with the Merseyway team over the festive period.”

Merseyway is also running two festive giveaways – children who post a letter to Santa at the Winter Snow Garden will be in with a chance of winning an early Christmas present from their Christmas list, while local shoppers can enter Merseyway’s Facebook competition ’12 Days of Christmas’.

From 1st – 12th December, Merseyway will be giving a present away every day on the run-up to Christmas from Merseyway retailers.
