Jarvis Cocker to Perform at Manchester's Deaf Institute

Pulp frontman to perform at select few tiny gigs in the UK

Did you know that Jarvis Cocker is playing some concerts in caverns & tiny clubs around the UK later this month?

If not, this will be music to ex-Pulp fans ears. And the best bit: Cocker has put Manchester on his list, performing at The Deaf Institute on April 3rd.

Following a successful one-off show at Sigur Ros festival in Iceland at the end of last year, the band wanted to present what they are doing to a domestic audience.

The musicians involved are:

Jarvis Cocker – singing
Serafina Steer – harp, keyboards
Emma Smith – violin
Andrew McKinney – bass
Adam Betts – drums

Most of the songs are new, but some will be familiar tracks. It's also worth noting that Jarvis Cocker and his new band (not to be mistaken for Pulp) go under the name of JARV.

The other dates and shows include:

26th March – Brighton, Patterns

27th March – London, Moth Club

28th March – Ramsgate Music Hall

3rd April – Manchester, Deaf Institute

4th April – Liverpool, Williamson’s Tunnels

6th April – Castleton (near Sheffield), Peak Cavern

7th April – Castleton (near Sheffield), Peak Cavern

Tickets are on sale now at Jarv.eu
