Oscar-winning director, Danny Boyle, has dropped the trailer for his new film Yesterday, and the premise is completely unique.

Written by the writer of Love Actually, Richard Curtis, the story follows a failing musician, Jack, who gets hit by a bus and wakes in a world which is identical to the previous one, but megaband, The Beatles, never existed.

Jack takes this opportunity to start his own musical career by covering The Beatles classics like ‘Yesterday’, ‘Hey Jude’ and ‘Come Together’ and becomes a mega star.

It’s such an interesting concept, and no doubt the added genius of Danny Boyle, who previously brought us Slumdog Millionaire, will make this one movie to put on your ‘Must Watch’ list.

Fans on Twitter also agree, with many taking to the social media site to share their excitement.

Yesterday stars Himesh Patel, Lily James, Kate McKinnon and even Ed Sheeran.

The film is set to hit theatres on June 28.
