We all love a good Margarita, especially when the weather is warm and sunny and we can pretend we’re sipping it on a tropical beach somewhere.

But how can Margs get any better, you say? When they’re free. Duh.

To celebrate National Tequila Day on 24th July, El Camino at The Cotton Factory on Princess Street will be giving away free frozen Margaritas to the first 100 guests through the door.

From 5pm on Wednesday 24th July, 100 lucky people will be getting their hands on a free frozen Margarita, usually priced at £8.

If you’re feeling a bit peckish while you’re sipping on your summer cocktail, El Camino’s menu includes a range of tacos, a selection of big plates cooked on the charcoal grill such as rib-eye steak, pork chop and grilled sea bream, plus a variety of vegetarian options including chipotle cauliflower taco with radish, red chilli and sweet potato puree.

There is also a wide range of tequila drinks and cocktails on offer including Patron, KAH Tequila and Cenote.

Scott Power, Co-Founder of El Camino, said: ‘Tequila is at the heart of El Camino and what better way to celebrate something universally loved than with free frozen margaritas – especially as Manchester is enjoying this sunny weather at the moment.”

El Camino at The Cotton Factory, part of Whitworth Locke Hotel, is open Monday to Saturday 12pm – 11pm and Sunday 12pm – 9pm.
