For everyone (like me) who is tentatively awaiting the dates of our fabulous Christmas Markets, you needn't wait any longer.

The Manchester Christmas Markets are a spectacle us Mancs have the pleasure of experiencing every year (unless you're not a fan of large crowds), bringing us a month's worth of joy and mulled wine and fuzzy feelings.

So, yes, it may be a day in the height of summer and we've all got heatwave vibes on the brain, but this is BIG BIG NEWS.

Manchester Council has finally released the dates for the 2018 Christmas Markets, due to open in and around Albert Square.

A spokesperson said they will be running from Friday 9 November to Saturday 22 December, with the market in Albert Square opening for an extra day on Sunday 23 December.

This is too much to handle...

Think of the decorations...

Think of the wine...

Think of the food...

Only four months to wait!
