With a boyfriend who has a small minicher pinscher, who constantly wants to be by our side, I am forever searching for the pooch approving places in Manchester. Luckily we aren’t that short of places who are happy to accommodate our little pal when we want to have a coffee or a bite to eat.

I have picked out some of my favourites that when we arrive, pooch in hand – literally – they smile and give us the warmest welcome.

One of the Northen Quarters finest bars, having recently done up the place it looks a million dollars. They make us feel super welcome and always supply a water bowl.

Alberts Schloss

Uber cool is a German-style palatial bar with a fine food offer and great bar. Only really suitable for smaller dogs as it gets super busy.
